Successful Picnic at the National Cathedral

Sometimes after living in DC, we forget how stunningly beautiful it is here. Last Friday however, we were graciously reminded.

Families, friends and sure, maybe a tourist or two, all gathered with baskets and blankets to picnic in the grand halls of the National Cathedral.

At 3333, we are pretty lucky- the humbling gothic structure is a short walk from our front doors. Yet it’s not every day we can sit on its floors and feast.

The event was a wonderful reminder to take a breath, appreciate our homes and neighbors, and be grateful to live in this powerful city.

Thanks to the Cathedral crew for welcoming everyone, we are looking forward to next year.
